Alli Wortham

UT Dallas BSM Associate Director

Alli Wortham serves as an Associate Director with the UTD Baptist Student Ministry. Originally from Houston, Texas, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Religion from Baylor University before moving to Rowlett to complete the School of Ministry through Lakepointe Church.

During her time at Lakepointe, Alli served in the Kids Ministry, investing in the lives of first through fifth graders. While she loved serving children, God used her own experience with the Baylor BSM to ignite a passion for evangelism, discipleship, and walking alongside college students and international students. She is excited to be part of the UTD BSM team and is passionate about helping students encounter Jesus, find authentic community, and grow in their faith.

John Murthodi

BSM Cross-Cultural Specialist at the UT Dallas

682-583-8003

John's greatest joy is serving and sharing the love of Christ with the diverse community of international students at UTD. He loves seeing students experience genuine care, ask meaningful questions about faith, and encounter the hope of the gospel through authentic relationships.

Two passages have especially shaped John's approach to ministry. The story of the Good Samaritan reminds him to intentionally pursue and care for students, meeting practical needs and building relationships before they ever have to ask for help. The account of the Syrophoenician woman in Mark 7 reminds him that the invitation to follow Jesus is for everyone. No matter a person's culture, background, or beliefs, John is passionate about helping students discover that they are welcomed by Christ through faith.
